Rebecca Haydock, Director

Rebecca Haydock grew up on a farm in Upstate, NY, comes from a family of entrepreneurs and started her first of several businesses at age 16. A graduate of Cornell University, she has over 20 years of experience advising, starting, growing and financing primarily technology-based businesses. She has owned and operated companies ranging from bagels to biotech. Rebecca formerly worked in economic development in Schenectady, NY, at the NC SBDC advising in government contracting and business development, spoke at national technology conferences, managed a tech portfolio as a Director at Princeton, NJ based Technology Management and Funding, and is an experienced an angel investor, strategic advisor, and mentor. As a business advisor and Director of CV SBDC she guides organizational excellence, sustainable business practices, and building operational infrastructure for growth with an emphasis on acquiring human and financial assets.
Diane Arnold, Certified Business Advisor, Growth Wheel Certified

Diane Arnold is the former Director of Longwood SBDC. She has over 45 years of experience in large and small business marketing, financial preparedness, business and personal coaching. Ms. Arnold served as the Director of Instructional Special Projects at Piedmont Community College in Roxboro, NC, Coordinator for the Manufacturing Technology Center in Wytheville, VA, and Director of the Marshall University Procurement Technical Assistance Center where she counseled clients on government contracting opportunities and operated a large regional bid room. Diane also served in the private sector as Director of Marketing for Smart-Rayburn Associates and as a sales representative for Hershey Foods International.
Greg McFetridge, Access to Capital Business Advisor

Greg McFetridge grew up on a 3000 acre farm in Upstate NY, which inspired him to receive his business degree from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Upon graduating Greg joined Citibank, but left after a few years to pursue agriculture related lending. He held positions with savings institutions, commercial lenders, an ag-lending program through Aetna Life Insurance, credit unions, and regional loan committees. Greg’s broad lending background caused the SBDC to pull him out of retirement not once, but twice, as we find his skill set unmatched.
Dillon Franks, Certified Business Advisor, Growth Wheel Certified

Dillon Franks has over 40 years’ experience addressing business challenges in multiple industries, worldwide, resulting in improved business models and strategies. Dillon’s international experience with small to medium enterprise support groups around the World Central with specific contacts in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Malaysia, Jamaica, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Mexico. He served on the Small Business Advisory committee for the 2nd congressional District of Iowa and is a thought leader in strategy. Dillon engages entrepreneurs and teams in thoughtful debate to draw intellectual horsepower to strategy and operational change discussions. He challenges the status quo, offering insights to motivate organizations with both personal business intuition and case studies of other successful organizations. Dillon helps entrepreneurs recognize when organizational change is needed while providing tools for success.
Yolunda Harrell, Business Advisor

Yolunda Harell leverages over 24 years of profit management, staff development, external and internal customer experiences, and community engagement to help entrepreneurs establish solid foundations for growth and improve profitability. She is a community leader, having a founding hand in several successful initiatives that serve early stage businesses and entrepreneurs with a focus on under served populations. Yolunda has established for profit and nonprofit businesses, and is experienced in project and team management from startup enterprises to multi million dollar projects. She has developed and executed strategic revenue, marketing, and business strategies in existing, transitional, and start-up assets from$1M to $12M in annual revenues whilst simultaneously leading teams ranging from 15 to 90 members.
Ellen Martin, Business Advisor

Ellen Martin has a BS Business Management and MS in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy. Ellen’s background meshes multi-faceted for-profit and not-for-profit business experience. She employs holistic and strategic thinking to advance organizational missions. Her 25-year career has encompassed private sector, higher education, voluntary sector, start-up, and entrepreneurial pursuits. Ellen has broad experience in bookkeeping, CRMs, human resources, nonprofit strategy, is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and holds a graduate certificate in board governance.
Greg Dorazio, Business Communications Advisor

Greg’s 15-year career in journalism and public relations was marked by innovation and effectively integrating new communication tactics and strategies into efficient workflows for consistently better storytelling. He has helped launch local and regional brands, and develops and executes communications plans for service and retail businesses. His work improves online customer engagement, business owner management of their communications platforms, and drives eCommerce.
Cameron Nelson, Business Communications and Technology Advisor

Cameron has over 18 years experience in technology, and as a senior tech consultant in Silicon Valley helping Fortune 500 companies improve their digital marketing and eCommerce. At the same time he founded several tech companies, including a SaaS website for tree preservation and a blockchain platform for nonprofits. Cameron has explored six continents, visited 55 countries and published travel stories in newspapers and magazines. Cameron is accomplished in language, culture, has an MBA and MA and believes new technology products have the ability to help shape our world for the better.
Donna Clark, Client Services Coordinator and Office Manager
Donna Clark is the wise and friendly voice on the phone when you call, and is the woman who keeps the CV SBDC ship afloat! As a regional and federally funded organization, there is no shortage of data tracking and resource juggling. Donna manages advisor schedules, client scheduling and is our master of metrics.
Lynda Tubridy, Events Coordinator
Lynda Tubridy develops, promotes and manages the vast offering of CVSBDC events and educational programs offered each year. She works with entrepreneurs, business resources providers, industry experts, state and federal resources and the entire CVSBDC team. In touch with the needs of Central Virginia entrepreneurs, Lynda brings together thought leaders to provide timely and valuable educational content and connection opportunities.
