Building Your Business Website — Louisa County
Join us for a hands-on class where you’ll start as a complete beginner and leave with a fully functioning website and the skills to maintain it on your own! CV SBDC Director Bo Grist will guide you through signing up for an easy-to-use Umso account ($7/month) and building a branded site that includes your products/services, “About Us,” FAQ, contact form, and more—no coding required!

Location: Louisa County Chamber of Commerce, 111 W. Main St., Louisa
Cost: $30 ($20 for Members)
Refreshments will be provided.
Please note that due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, there will be no virtual option for this event — it will only be held in person at the noted location.
To get the most from this class, please bring:
- A credit card to set up an Umso account for 1 year ($84)
- A credit card to purchase a custom domain for 1 year (decide on your desired URL in advance)
- A photo of yourself (and your team, if applicable) plus several photos representing your business or products
- A digital copy of your logo (if you have one)
- A laptop or tablet (phones will not work well)
- A free Gmail account
- Umso account ongoing $7/month
