The Bio-Med Tech-Girls program is a collaboration between the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) and the Design Lab in the School of Education at UVA along with Charlottesville Women in Tech. The week is filled with behind-the-scenes lab tours, guest speakers, hands-on computer science learning and a bio-med related design challenge.

We invite the community to join us in the Design Lab from 4 to 5pm (open house style) on August 11 for a Demo Party where you can check out and show your support for the work the young women created during their Bio-Med Tech-Girls experience. Refreshments will be available.
