In this workshop, we’ll explore the options available for businesses to raise capital for expansion and growth….and how to find the right option for your business.
Bryan Thomas, Senior Vice President at First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company. First Citizens specializes in small business loans, offering microloans to meet everyday needs all the way to multi-million dollar loans. The Bank also offers specialty loans, including SBA loans, and has helped nearly 23,000 clients access the Paycheck Protection Program funding.
Rebecca Haydock, Director of the Central Virginia SBDC. Rebecca has over 20 years of experience advising, starting, growing and financing primarily technology-based businesses. She is an angel investor, strategic advisor, and mentor – and at the CVSBDC, works with businesses to build operational infrastructure for growth with an emphasis on acquiring human and financial assets.
Stephen Davis, President of the Community Investment Collaborative (CIC). Stephen brings a decade of experience in organization building, management, consulting and education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Master’s degree in Education from James Madison University. Since joining CIC, Stephen has expanded CIC’s microloan loan fund and loan services and built partnerships with numerous community groups to improve opportunities for under-resourced entrepreneurs in the region.
