Piedmont Pitch
Entrepreneurs and small business owners in Charlottesville and Albemarle can apply for an opportunity to pitch for up to $15,000 in prize money!
After attending weekly training sessions as well as one-on-one advising with CV SBDC, participants will submit a final business plan, the best of which will be invited to pitch live at Piedmont Ascent Business Conference in June.
To be eligible to receive prize money, participants must have an active business license in the City of Charlottesville or Albemarle County by July 1, 2026.
OC Innovates
OC Innovates is the new business accelerator program and pitch competition for Orange County entrepreneurs.
In collaboration with Orange County Economic Development, OC Innovates will award up to $13,000 to one or more cohort participants based on their business plan and final pitch presentation.
In order to be eligible for the prize money, the winning business or businesses must already be or plan to be located in Orange County, VA.
Pitch Preview
Pitch Preview, co-hosted by Charlottesville Angel Network, is an opportunity for start-up entrepreneurs to practice their pitch in front of angel investors to get valuable feedback before attempting to obtain funding.
Pitch Preview offers multiple opportunities throughout the calendar year. No funds are given out, but it serves as a helpful way for those who wish to obtain funds from investors in the future to become more confident with their pitch.
