Before joining the PTAC community\, Lisa was a Procurement Specialist for Bechtel Plant Machinery\, Inc. in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. In this role\, Wood performed contract administration and negotiation duties. DESCRIPTION:Win the $5\,000 Quad Tank Competition!\nStart-up or existing companies in Fluvanna\, Greene\, Louisa\, and Orange Counties.\nTake our prep class to make the most of your pitch.\nRebecca Haydock\, new Director of the Central Virginia SBDC\, and Cameron Nelson\, Business Communications and Technology Advisor\, will walk you through what is crucial to include in your pitch and how to make the most of your ten minutes before the judges.  Plenty of time for Q & A and individual meetings can be scheduled after the session. \nREGISTER\n\nDETAILS:  This is the second annual QuadTank Pitch Competition – an exciting new addition to the Quad County Business Summit. The winning individual or team this year will be awarded a $5\,000 cash prize to support implementation of their business plans. At the end of the Quad County Business Summit\, the winner will be chosen by a panel of judges. \nPROCESS:\n1) Participating individuals or teams submit a business plan or pitch deck no later than Friday\,\nNovember 6th to QuadTank@cvsbdc.org.\n2) Participants will be notified if there are more than 4 qualified entries.
